2nd African Forum on Urban Forests

The Organising Committee of the event is pleased to inform you that a call for proposals for side events to be held in the framework of the 2nd African Forum on Urban Forests is now open.
Should you be interested in organising one, please fill out the form at the link: https://forms.gle/keUgoixBe6zkqZGf6. Proposals can be submitted in English, French or Portuguese. The Organizing Committee will review the applications received and will contact you via email to confirm whether your proposal has been accepted and to eventually provide you with further information for its organisation. In the case where many applications are received, the Organising Committee will undertake a selection process and where feasible, encourage organisers with similar events to combine their side events.
The deadline for submission of proposals is January 3, 2025. You will receive confirmation of acceptance or non-acceptance of your event by mid-January 2025.
Please note that the rooms in which the side events will be held are in the main venue of the forum and will be made available free of charge. Interpreting services in and from English, French, Portuguese, and Arabic will also be provided free of charge. All other costs related to the organisation of the side events (e.g., travel costs for invited speakers, coffee breaks, devices not available in the rooms) will be the responsibility of the applicants.
